Is a Psychologist a Doctor?
Psychology is the study of the human mind and behavior. Psychologists hold doctoral degrees in psychology, such as clinical or counseling psychology; they are not medical doctors. One main difference between psychiatrists, who are medical doctors, and psychologists, who hold doctoral degrees, is that psychologists are trained to look at the behavior behind a psychological condition.
